If you are experiencing difficulties, make certain that JavaScript is enabled on your browser. There is no need to enable Java or a Java Virtual Machine (Java VM), as the embedded management system does not utilize Java. However, JavaScript is required to ensure that pages are loaded and viewed correctly by your browser. The embedded management system has been optimized for Microsoft Internet Explorer v6.0.2 or higher. If you are having difficulties with another browser, please try using Microsoft Internet Explorer and contact Paradyne Networks, Inc. technical support at Tel.: 1-800-795-8004 (U.S. and Canada) Tel.: 1-727-530-2340 (International). A cursory overview of the help documents are displayed at all times when using the NMS v2.1, in a browser window running in the background. This window may be closed without effect to the NMS. To view the embedded help system (by clicking the 'Help' icon) properly, you must have an active connection to the Internet.

NMS v2.1 includes the capability to view online help files. These files are NOT stored locally within the NMS, they are located at http://www.paradyne.com/support/ and are dynamically displayed through the NMS using Adobe Acrobat Reader.
To access the online help, click on the Online Help button located on the chassis console main window. You will be asked to make certain that Adobe Acrobat Reader is present before continuing. Upon clicking the hyperlink, the Help window will resize itself automatically so that the help files can be more easily viewed.
